Race volunteers needed for the 2024 ACLI Capital Challenge.

May 15, 2024: Anacostia Park, Washington, DC

Are you looking for a new volunteering opportunity? If so, we need you. If you volunteered for this event in the past, we hope you’ll bring your expertise to the race and join us again this year. If you’re a rookie, we’ll show you the ropes – no experience is needed. Either way, you will have plenty of fun volunteering at this 3-mile race, where U.S. Senators, Representatives, the Executive Branch, the Judiciary Branch, and the media compete against each other to benefit Junior Achievement USA. The race has a great out-and-back waterfront course in Anacostia Park. It’s just a couple of miles from Capitol Hill. This course is viewer-friendly and has plenty of parking spaces!

Date: May 15, 2024 
Location: Anacostia Park, Washington (meeting point is near the roller rink)
Arrival time for volunteers: Between 6:00 am and 7:00 am, depending on assigned duty
Race start time: 8:00 am
Departure: Approx. 9:15 am, depending on volunteer assignment
